Big eyed boy

In a little boy’s eyes the world is as big as his sandbox and as complicated as opening his juice box. Great times are playing hide and seek with mom and dad and bad times are scraping a knee on the sidewalk. Frogs and a bucket of worms are a little boys best friends. At night storms are scary but a little boy’s heart delights as he scoops up the mud the next day. He laughs as he catches a butterfly and makes his mom smile with chocolate frosting kisses. His space blanket sparks his imagination and adventures begin as his night light sends stars dancing on the ceiling. His hero is his daddy as they read books together in the recliner or watch football. A little boy’s favorite chore is helping daddy fixing things and hands tools from his plastic tool box. To a little boy mommy is the prettiest girl and he picks a hand full of clovers and grass for her. His face is constantly smudged with dirt and his chubby little hands have unkept finger nails. A little boy plays in the backyard kicking Dandelions and making the seed fly away. The world extends from the front yard to the backyard and he has no worries. His heart is filled with wonder as he watches the cricket he trapped in a jar. The cricket jumps and he covers his mouth and giggles with excitement. His life is pure and a full of simplistic joy; just as it should be.
